The greatest injustice in all human history...

I have no Canadian news access...

In the middle of the Winter Olympics...

While, this being Latin America, ESPN and Fox Sports are only covering soccer...

and even NBC only spends 20 minutes a day covering the (exclusively American) Olympic results...

For someone who usually goes without sleep for two weeks every four years, this is a difficult thing to handle.

Anybody want to volunteer to keep me posted via this blog?

Well if it's results you're looking for, all the Canadian news sites will have 'em. CBC.ca is going big, and I'm sure canada.com is too. Even mytelus.com has an Olympic site.

I saw part of the opening ceremonies. They were deeply, deeply weird. Think 50's science fiction esthetic (complete with giant balloons on people's heads) mixed with country kitsch (giant cows being towed around the arena, followed by ballroom dancers in black-and-white spotted outfits, then four men in liederhosen with giant mountain horns).

It was the people dancing in body stockings and mohawks that got me

I was fortunate enough to catch the opening ceremonies, which thoroughly confused me...

I'm sure Vancouver can do better than that.

The Woman's hockey team has been kicking some serious butt. 16-0 over the Italians and 12-0 over Russia!
We didn't get anything in the men's half pipe but it was really impressive to watch anyway!
